After sanding down the skim coat to a smoot finish, knock the end spacers out (remember they were in there with some play) and work the tube off of the form.

The tube should really not be pulled from the form until it is done.  That is finish sanded, primed and painted.   Stan pulled this one so that I could take it home with me and finish it up.
