I have several hundred 3/8" and 1/2" X 7" Teflon rods, which might be =
very useful to amateur telescope makers. This Teflon is machinable on a =
mill, lathe, or drill press, and can be cut with a knife about as easily =
as soft pine wood. Its most famous and useful feature is it's low =
coefficient of friction. It bends easily, yet is fairly durable. I =
don't know much about telescope making, but I can imagine it would be =
useful as bearings /bushings, etc. on Dobsonian mounts, etc. You are a =
resourceful bunch, so let yor imagination run wild. You may order this =
material by e-mail from me at quilts@ktc.com. The 1/2" is $1.00/piece =
and the 3/8" is $.75/piece. =20
