Hi,
Here is my latest lightweight mirror for sale.
It is $2300 + shipping.
Available right now, no waiting.
It is not coated, and i can arrange for it
to transit through the coater of your choice.
This is no ordinary mirror, it has the rigidity of
a full 6/1 thickness ratio mirror, at 40% of the weight,
plus, it can cool down to ambient temperature in no time
at all, with its thin 5/8" faceplate.
It has an excellent 0.97 Strehl ratio surface, free of
printrough or astigmatism and will perform extremely well
thanks to its extraordinary thermal properties.
I have a Foucault image of its surface when the mirror was
close to a sphere, prior parabolizing, in case you worry about
surface defects associated with its unusual design.
I can also send a report of the last figuring step and resulting
precision of the mirror.
I have made about 15 of these mirrors over the last 5 years
and only had very favorable reports. Of course i use one too,
and can attest the real thermal advantage of the design.
If you have any question, i will be happy to oblige.
Thanks for your interest,
Best regards,
Jean-Guy Moreau
